Information Letter

Moto Club Central Coast Inc. is a nonprofit organization comprised of off road motorcycle enthusiasts that like to ride motocross tracks and/or race motocross. This Club was put together with the sole purpose of securing 15 acres, building a vet track a mini track and a technical track, insuring it and keeping it groomed and watered for the club members to use only! The proposed regular hrs for riding will be Tuesday and Thursday from 2PM until Dusk and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm, with grooming days on Monday, Wednesday  and Friday, as well as a group work day one Sat per month.

This is a family orientated club and we promote family riding and values.

We now have 90 members in the club including the directors and secretaries.  The charter is full at this time, how ever members are selling there memberships back to the club from time to time and we will re-sell to new families as openings become available.

If you are interested in joining Moto Club you can do so by attending our monthly meeting and filling out an application  and introducing your self to the members in attendance. Moto Club meets at Giovanni’s pizza in Orcutt Ca.  Located at the Albertsons shopping center on the south east corner of Clark Ave. and Bradley Rd.

Moto Club meets the second Monday of each month at 7: pm (see the calendar on this web site).

We do have 2 to 3 guest days per month where members can bring guests with them so that they can try the tracks (donations taken at the gate) and see if they are interested in getting involved with the Moto Club Family.

The cost to join as a new member is $400.00 for a single rider membership plus $30.00 per month. $500.00 for a two rider membership (must be in the same family) plus $40.00 per month and $600.00 for 3 or more (up to 8 riders, must be in the same family) membership plus $50.00 per month. This is Not a yearly fee and it is good for as long as the club lasts, as long as you keep current on your monthly dues. If you get behind on your dues by more than a full month you will loose your membership and all privileges at the riding facility. We do not send out bills or statements and it is up to the members to pay on time!

We do asses a yearly fee at our May Meeting (the beginning of our fiscal year) that you are given two moths (July 9th.)to pay and we decide the amounts to be assessed at that meeting so it is in your best interest to stay involved so that your voice is heard.

All of the members own a piece of the track so all members are expected to  make sure that non members are not sneaking in and all members are observing the safety rules and regulations so as not to endanger the club as a whole.

all members are expected be in charge of running the track (track marshal) at least 2 times per year, and help on track work days.

State of the track       3/13/2007

We are now 100% finished with the watering system for the Vet track, Kids track and The Technical track, and have the Auto timers set up for the Vet track, the Out door skills track will remain un watered unless mother nature decides otherwise.

We are continuing to improve the Vet and Kids Tracks with both design changes and soil enhancements (sand, mulch etc.)

The Technical track has been torn down and re leveled in anticipation of re-building a new more rhythmic (amateur Super cross style) track. And we will rebuild the kids first timer track as soon as the technical track is completed, utilizing the hilly area west of the pits no longer occupied by the technical track more than doubling the length of it.

The check in / Moto Club Office (Sweet Shack) is 70% completed and will be dedicated to the Memory of Paul Sweet at the Memorial GP ride (date to be announced soon) and will have electrical and lights etc. as well as a sound system when completed.
